How to make paper roses.

 

Need ideas for Valentines Day, but dont have much cash?
Then try out this simple but effective way of making your very own bouquet of flowers using paper....

All you need to make your own paper roses are.....
Coloured paper, scissors, pencil and glue/cello tape.

Step 1

Draw on your chosen colour paper these shapes....

Ive gone for white roses..

Next cut these out

Step 2

Next fold in the two ends so they overlap forming a cone shape and glue or cello tape it to hold it in place...

Do this with all your cut out shape i did three to four cut outs, and layer them on top of each other and secure them in place....

You should end up with this shape, and there you have it homemade paper roses...

It really is that simple. Then when you have made a few arrange them into a beautiful bouquet of flowers by adding steams.

Try it for yourself and uses different colours and different cut out shapes and see what weird and wonderful paper flowers you can create....
